Square rings & washers
Flat faces and a square or rectangular section. Match the profile to the drawing and the intended sealing arrangement.
Flat faces. Defined thickness.
Specify inside diameter, outside diameter and axial thickness. A flat washer and a square-section sealing ring may perform different jobs; identify the intended profile on the drawing.
Build the specification
- Profile drawing and all relevant dimensions, with tolerances
- Compound, hardness and media compatibility
- Temperature, pressure, movement and surface conditions
- Quantity, documentation and inspection requirements
Confirm interchangeability with an engineering review. Matching an outside diameter is not sufficient to approve a different sealing profile.
