Show the orientation, inside diameter and complete cross-section on the drawing. Check the gland and compression direction against the intended assembly.

Build the specification

• Profile drawing and all relevant dimensions, with tolerances
• Compound, hardness and media compatibility
• Temperature, pressure, movement and surface conditions
• Quantity, documentation and inspection requirements

Confirm interchangeability with an engineering review. Matching an outside diameter is not sufficient to approve a different sealing profile.
